class of 2009?
Tempted to delete some of the crap posts I have put on here.

Ignoring that for now- there is one day until the last year of school begins.
Anyone else overly excited? It seems as though the last 12 years have
lead up to this one final year of school.
The biggest shock to me is that I don't seem to be terrified.
All in good time I guess..
Although it is hard to believe that next year some of us will be studying to be doctors
and lawyers when you'll all always be 14 to me.

okay, updates!
so.. i havent made any updates since ive been away. Its been a big trip and unless I update frequently, I get overloaded with information and forget about what to say.
The first 3 days were spent in Tokyo in Prince Shinagawa Hotel (that comes equipped with its own Aquarium, gift shops, 12 plus restaurants and bars, cinema and rollercoaster). It was a little overwhelming to say the least. We went on a tour of Tokyo and saw a lot of the high end shops and working areas and shrines. I didnt get to take many pictures on my camera and i am the only one that bought a camera cord so i wouldnt be expecting to be seeing many photos until I get back.
Japan can pretty much only be described as been redonky-donk. We dont get to visit insane japan (Shibuya) until the last day but already I am getting a feel of why there is so much hype around the crazy people of Japan just by turning on the tv or looking at the rediculous amount of faces on all their products whether it be an energy drink or tube of toothpaste (which happens to come in around 30 different flavors).
The last few days have been spent looking at Hiroshima and Kioto (traditional Japan). It is overwhelming to see the contrast between Japans beauty and devestation in its history. Seeing theA-bomb peace memorial in Hiroshima was an incredibly moving experience and I really wish I had learnt more about it before I came here. The shrines and memorials are stunning and the people really seem to have a deep respect for one another.
which moves me along to the people! oh my, I thought that comparing them to little dolls or anime characters would be difficult but I literally stepped off the plane, walked out into Tokyo and it felt as if I were in a cartoon. They all have perfectly matching little suits and ties and feel the need to constantly bow and shout merry little greetings as you walk past. I want to take one home.
I will try and start undating more frequently and in more detail when I get back to Tokyo tomorrow night.
The day after that I will be heading to TOKYO DISNEY and then the following day I will be spending long awaited time in Shibuya.
I am starting to feel the tiniest bit homesick and almost squealed when I heard another Australian accent in the lobby before (even though Australian accents are admitedly gross) but I am still enjoying every second of this strange out-of-this-world experience.
Agh I am starting to wish that I blogged more because I am out of time.
Looking forward to coming home and seeing everyone, or just becuase it isnt 2 degrees out back in Adelaide.

Off and away!
The countdown to Japan is on.
Today I leave for Sydney and then tomorrow it will be a very long tedious flight to Japan.
I will try to post some pictures up here during my travels.
Wish me luck!
